Yes, yes, I do. I would rather have a 91 with the 700r4 over the TH350 but yes I would definitely buy this.
And, I hate to be that guy but....
this is a Silverado SS
The truck you posted is a Silverado 454 SS. I am not trying to be a dick at all, just like sharing knowledge.

Oh man my dad had one of these in the 90's. White on red. It was so fun to ride in. I sadly was too young to drive it. He would kick the ass out every chance he got.

Good. It's 50 grand. Pay up.

I'm gonna need this...
But not for $49,000. No way in hell.

Sounds like a hoot

CP, not that special. Spend the money on a modern pickup with safety features.

People think that any car with the mileage as the main feature is automatically worth a fortune. They're not always right .

You could probably build that truck from scratch for less.

Especially when it's a SBC (BBC?) under the hood. One with 100,000 miles is most likely going to run the same as one with 7 miles.

...or vice versa?

Sure?

I just want to know why he held onto it, Haha.

That was an joke.
Ah, never mind.

If I drove this car, or even did the smokey burnouts this was built to do, its value would depreciate exponentially. This is far cooler than any modern pickup aside from maybe the Ram RT/10, but no way.

Pffffttt.. $50 grand whatevs.
Okay, not really I'm poor. $49K plus replacing all the fluids and everything made of rubber because it will all break, $60K 25 year old truck, not so much.

Big Block 454

I had a serious woodie for these when new. But at $50k I'm gonna say pass..
I'd be willing to bet the original owner thought this was the second coming of the Grand National at some point and bragged about his "7 mile original" often.

These trucks have been going up in value over the past 5 years but this is way too high, they are amazing trucks and I would love to have one over a newer chevy.

$49k for 230hp and a three speed? All the nope. So much nope I could fill an ocean. Could probably get a new low trim Silverado with the 6.2 and 8AT for that price!
![]() 01/04/2015 at 20:23 |

Wait...three speeds?
What is this, 1947?
![]() 01/04/2015 at 21:08 |

Right?! I can't in good faith endorse that setup.

It probably will run better. Lot-rot is real. The worst thing you can do to a vehicle, is not drive it. This is a mega-crackpipe price.

You most certainly could. I love these, but that price is insane.
